Sounds like you're ready... good luck and I hope you catch a boat full.
I have always been a long line troller , but got the boat setup for spider rigging today . I mounted a Driftmaster T-250 Trolling Bar on the front that I bought from Yadkin Guide (Great guy to do business with ! ) , and rigged up 4 rods . Two with a single hook with a dropshot , and two Capps /Coleman rigs .
The fish are still scattered where I fish and haven't moved all the way up to spawn yet . Water temp is 54 degrees . I have been catching a few in 5'-8' tightlining jigs .
Sounds like you're ready... good luck and I hope you catch a boat full.
Fishin' fills the time until College football season
Sounds like a great setup, now get it out on the water and catch yorself a mess o slabs! :D
Just curious, why did you decide to switch? I went from spider to long linning last year. I enjoy longlining more as there is some speed and not affected by the wind as much.
