I have not been to Hillsdale in 4 weeks. Everyone that i've talked to said that the lake is real muddy. Your best chance to catch some fish might be in the Maryville Cove.
Does any one know how the fishing is doing? Going to try to go down Saturday and next Wednesday after work. Any help will sure help. I was down a couple of weeks ago and spent about 5 hours with only 2 fish.

Thanks, I was thinking there or around the Antioch area. I will let you know how it goes
I fished there all afternoon yesterday... I fished every brush pile known online and several that are not... Not a fish. They seem to be in a transition mode had to find and it is very muddy... Those that where catching a few where all small. Head west young man is all I can say.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

Ohhhh the humor of it all.
Brent Frazee fishing report in the paper today:
■ HILLSDALE: Upper 40s, clear and slightly above normal. Outlook: Rand’s Bait and Tackle reports: Crappies good on minnows and jigs off the banks.
Looks like Rand's Bait Shop must need some business.
Progressive Marine Insurance SUCKS!. If you hit a submerged object they will try to prove manufacturers defect....stay away from them.
Clear my butt. I think that they put that in the paper just to get people out to the lakes. But i've also seen the report say that the fishing is terrible, and i've been ripping their lips off.
