not hard at all i used a 5/8 inch metal drill bit from lows. i made a total of 12 of these with different lingth pvc and i ended up using 2 drill bits. my bit sharpener won't take a bit that big

Wow, them look really nice. Do you work at a bowling alley pro shop or something ? How did you come across 12 bowling balls ? Anyway, they should draw some crappie in for sure. Now just need to decide where to put them !

Very impressive condos... that brush should hold a ton of fish... and very ingenious use of the bowling ball. You should think about marketing those, could be a fortune in it for ya.
Fishin' fills the time until College football season
you would be suprised on how many people have bowling balls in their attic or garage. i just ask people if they had any they wanted to get rid of and i ended up with about 15 all toghther. i went to pick up a couple at a lady's home from our church and i ended up buying a slate top pool table for $50.
it is amazing the people you meet and the bargans you come across

Great idea, they look good to me.
Take your kids hunting and fishing, and you won't be hunting your kids
That looks good and should work well for you.
