Has anyone done any crappie fishing in pool 13 of the Mississippi? Can you share any experiences?

Do you mean the area around the steel bridge upstream from the railroad bridge on the west channel? It seemed pretty shallow on the upstream side of the bridge. Is there a channel or are there some holes in there to look for?
Or, do you fish along the banks near brush?
Is there any depth to Spring Lake? (south and east of Sabula). If so, can you get in there from the main channel at the south end of Spring Lake?
