I haven't seen the lake, but the Louisville District Daily lake report show it coming up 4.1' in the last 24 hours. It is currently 16' over winter pool and 7' under summer pool.

wow that's quite a swing...23 ft. difference in summer and winter pool level...

I fish KY lake and there is only 5 ft. variation in summer and winter levels.

I suppose all lakes are different.........

Keep em' tight lined and wet.

This is interesting. Your post (broken-back) made me go back and check..

    640 Winter Pool
    667 Summer Pool
    658.1 Current Pool
    7.7 Current Deviation from Pool

That don't add up. I think their winter pool number may be a mistake. If it was 650, that would be a lot closer. I do know they drop that lake a bunch over the winter. I haven't been past there since last summer. I would take a trip past there tomorrow after work, but it's over 100 miles round trip, and with the current price of gas, I'm not going to spend the $$$.

The reason it doesn't seem to add up with the corps of engineers numbers is they have started their curve towards summer pool. If all the conditions are just right, the lake would be about 10' above winter pool this time of year. Hope this helps clear this up.
