About 1000 acres. It gets alot of fishing pressure. I am not sure if I will enter the tournament, I like to catch big cats and they will be feeding on spawning crappie, so I may be catfishing that weekend.
Lake Mattoon does have a $40 fee on all boats.
If you were to drive this far, Lake Shelbyville is not much farther and has 11,000 acres.
I live on the lake and buy bait at the bait shop, so I thought I would help them out.
