    Default Hey Darryl Morris

Just got my new Grizzly Jig catalog and you must post a better picture of that monster slab in the lower right of your ad with the length and weight. That thing is awesome.

Thanks bttmline. It was caught Nov. 26, 2007. It was 17" long and weighed 2lb.9oz. Jerry Blake and myself were out scouting for some crappie in his boat. It's in my freezer right now waiting for that 3-pounder to go with it in a skin mount.

Weather and lake conditions have slowed things down on Greeson some the past few days but it should only take a few days to warm up and get hot again. Jerry and I have been working hard on a bamboo habitat program with the Arkansas Game and Fish (over 350 since last April). Anyway, there's an example of the results and we believe it will continue to increase our crappie population as well as size.

I was glad I put Darryl on that fish! Where Darryl is standing in that picture the water is about 2-feet deep right now.

That is a pig. Nice fish. Looks like the lake was way down when you took the picture, but I could be mistaken. Looks like it went from one extreme to another.
