    Default B'n'M rod sale

Do B'n'M crappie rods ever go on sale? I see Wally Marshall rods on sale at BPS from time to time.

    Default BnM Sale

I have one for sale...It lasted almost one fish.
Went to lift a 3/4 lb crappie in and snap. Good Luck with the company. Yea they will replace it after you fetch the broken parts... travel to the post office, find a suitable tube for shipping and then pay to have it shipped there.

I've broken one or two, but then I've broken every rod I've ever owned except the ones I have now!

I think they are a little heavy and prefer Outlaw rods over all others, don't think you can get them anymore, then the Wally Marshals as a second choice, they were on sale at BPS for about $30 last year.

BNM trolling poles are NOT designed to pick a fish up out of the water they will break every time. If they made them where you could pick a fish up they wouldn't be a sensitive.

    Default BnM Sale

I have used Crappie Wizard rods for years and just abused them at Grenada. I have lifted everything from Gar to 12 lb striper with them. Never a hitch. . I suspect it was damaged when I bought it from Cabelas with out my knowing it. My tiff is with the company. I mean one 3/4 lb crappie... come on. Those poles are not cheap. I thought I could get at least one fish in. I may take it back to Cabelas . They are very good about returns.

If the rod has any dents in it, that is where they will break. the hard coating when scratched or dented weakens it and it will break. I got 2 from cabelas and sent both back and recieved replacements and sent one of them back for replacement.
finally got 2 good ones, the first 2 were dented from bouncing in the tube and 1 had a section smashed when they wrapped tape around both to hold them together.
Don't bang your rods on the boat, they won't last long....
I have several BnM rods and have broken my share of tips, none with a fish on though.
I started being careful about handling them in the boat and have stopped breaking them...

I had broken a rod or two and the folks at B n M sent me replacement tips without me needing to send the broken piece back to them. They will tell you that their rods are only rated for 6lb test line. It shouldn't of broke while lifting a 3/4lb crappie. Either it had a nic in it or was defective. (I have 4 12' rods and love them)
