maybe by you, or up in your neck of the woods ... but, I've caught 'em smaller than that :p Small enough that you had to really look close to even tell what species it actually was :D (don't think it was much more than 3" in length ... and it bit a 1.5" tube jig

and almost had the whole jig in its mouth .... LOL !! )
