well there are some blues around they are finally coming back after being fished to extinction on this part of the ohio because of all the paylakes in the area and yes they were cought doing it with huge nets on the backs of abandoned barges so we around here owe a big thanks to trace at sky lake for stealing the blues he was fined big time but just last year we found some gill nets on the back of a barge and cut them down and burnt them on the bank and when we were done fishing that day we warned tracy of what we found as its illegal and just plain wrong 3 days later i was in a bait shop and i heard he was selling the lake and getting out of the business lol i like to think we may finally start to have blues with size here again hope this explains it

Those are great fish... what the big guy on the left weigh?

Here (St. Louis area) on the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers only commercial fisherman can use the gill nets along with the state and fed agencies.
