    Smile New member old fisherman

Hello to all. I've read your interesting posts for about a month and decided this was a good place to be. I live in SE Mo. Work in Cape Girardeau in the communications field telephones and recording equipment for 26 years. Married, empty nest. Two sons and families live in Columbia, MO. I was born in Iberia. Mom's side of the family from Miller County near Brumley. Grandfather helped build the dam. Grew up on the lake around the swinging bridges. Fished all my life. Two brothers in KC area. One is fishing the bass tournaments in that area. The other brother like myself live and breath CRAPPIE! We get together spring and fall at LOZ on the Little Niangua. Rest of the year I fish closer to home, Mingo, Duck Creek, Wappapella and various streams. Glad to be here.

Thanks. Last year was my first trip to fish the little N. We limited three days in a row. But my party eats faster than we catch!. Last spring it seemed white roadrunners with a shot of shad yum was the ticket. Our fall trip was a different story. Neon Blue bomber was all that worked. Much slower fishing. Looking forward to April 11-14th.

Welcome to the board, CH. Lots of info and fun to be had with this bunch.
