Crappie Lake Storey

Caught a few last week at Lake storey Galesburg. I had a couple poles in my truck and was able to catch 5 crappie in a shallow northside cove. Fishing with tube and jig around downed trees. My best was about 10 inches the rest were 8 inches or better. I was on my way to work and just had a little extra time. Caught 2 around 8.5 inches and then the 10. So I decided I was keeping what I could catch. Only fished about an hour. Took my fish to my job and when we got a chance me and my buddy Mike cleaned them. Actually he filleted them and I cooked them on a steam pipe at our workplace. Iam ready to get on them at Storey and this lake seems to get better every year.
