Went out on the river at daylight. What a nice day to be fishing. Was just a little cool at fist, but it warm up just right.The crappies started out kind of slow. Only had 12 by 9:00am. But then we moved up river and started catching some nice crappies. Caught most of them in close to the weeds. We were using the orange & yellow and the white Teezur jig tip with a minnow.We ended up with 35 nice crappies. 8 of them that were in the 13" range. Real nice crappies.

With the amount of crappie you've caught out there, its no wonder you have to fish around the weedbeds, its the only way they don't see you coming and hide. I Hope you keep filling your livewell.
