..............and found a lake I want to fish this Spring. It's just South of Sedalia off of Hwy 65. No gas motors allowed. Fairly large in size.
30 crappies a day and no size limit. That's kinda scary cuz I'm grow weary catching dinks.
It's called SPRINGFORK LAKE. The ramp leaves a lot to be desired but my little floating bathtub should be perfect. Can anyone out there tell me anything about this lake?
Thanks,
Bob

Fished twice 4 to 5 years ago. Not much luck. We were they early March and again in July or Aug.. Not the best times to be there I know. I have heard from guys I use to work with it is loaded up. They fished from the bank along the dam in deeper water. Sedalia gets there water from there. There use to be a little bait shop there and canoes you could rent. It was a pay lake then. It is all gone now. May be a good one to hit in about a week or two.
I've heard it's loaded too, Jared. There has to be some sows in there too. Just got to get the bait through the dinks. I'm thinking a couple of weeks too.
