Fishing hasnt been that good this winter, since the power plant is not in production this year. Will probably be down for several months as the new scrubbers go in place.

Thanks for the heads up about TH. I was thinking about heading up there- good thing I didn't waste a 2.5-3.0 h drive to find out my honey holes wouldn't be as good as they were when the heaters are on.

I've caught them up the discharge canal as well as the upper pond- what do you mean when you say "where the chutes USED to be"?

My buddy told me that a kid drowned where the road used to go over the chutes. Apparently it has been re-done and has chain link fence all around it. I'm not sure how you get in there if it's too low to get a boat in the entrance to the ditch. The guy with the fish was on the other side of the fence. I don't know how he got in. I've not been up there in years, and my info is from others. There's a submerged road up in the warm water arem that can be waded effectively. Other than that - channel breaks and hope that the wind doesn't pick up. Good luck.
