Any Crappie.com get togethers in Indiana???

I was just wondering if the head guys at crappie.com have ever held anything in Indiana? Or would you consider holding something in Indiana? Like your get togethers, tournaments, fish fry, etc... Patoka makes for a good location (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois) and it has some good fishing. I would like to meet some of the guys on here in person for some fishing sometime. I have a little girl, 14 months, and that sure makes it tough to drive out of state to stay somewhere for a few days. I can do it, just don't like the way my ears burn when I leave state. Besides, there's more than corn in Indiana, we have soybeans as well!

I'm from Fort Wayne, seems like I am about the only one in this area, or should I say dont see any post from others.

Looking for good lakes around here that are short drives. Thought

I go to Patoka once in a while at Osbourne Ramp and fish the pier, but I don't take my boat, there's a needed $20 launching stamp that I'm too cheap to buy for maybe 1 or 2 trips up there with it.

The tournaments are members and state boards driven by the members. You can have one if you like they are fun for all a great meet and greet time for all.

if you build it, they will come. start by setting a place and date and see what happens. they will get larger as you go

PML, I am not aware of any Crappie.com gatherings in IN, but would be interested in attending if someone wants to set a date. My wife and I attended Fall Crappie Camp at Lake Greeson, AR last fall and will be leaving for Spring Crappie Camp at the same location in about 30 days. We don't have the equipment to put on a Supper/Fish Fry, but would be willing to help out in any way that we can.

Set a date and see what kind of responses that you get! And don't forget to post it on the Indiana Board also.

That sounds like a good idea to me Papermouth! Whatever I could do to helpout , just let me know. I'm not much of the planning type, more of the (LET'S GET IT GOING TYPE) . Love Patoka , leaving in the morn to finish up spring cleaning and try the fishing!!!!:D

I am going to put one on myself. It takes a little planning. Give me a few days to work out some dates. I will post something on the Indiana Board when I put something together. We'll make it a fish-fry, picnic type thing in the afternoon and some crappie fishing that morning. Keep an eye out for it.
