    Default sunday lake conroe

Hey guys...I fished lake conroe from 8am til about 3pm. I fished in the shallows around brush near creek openings and did not catch any crappie. Talked to a few other guys in the area and they were having a hard time as well. Then I fished around the bridge and got into stripers. Caught a striper as soon as i put my minnow down. But no Crappie. Then I fished boat docks and caught a couple small crappie and a bluegill. I am thinking about fishing for white bass til the crappie congregate back into schools around the brush.
Anyone have any suggestions? I think I am going to give it a try one more time around Caney creek.

The front pushed the Cappie of the beds. I fished the shallows Saturday mourning and only caught three fish.I went back Saturday night and caught 9 fish in about an hour in about 4.5 foot of water. they should be back on the beds if we have a few warm days in a row.

    Big Dave-
Do you fish where the creek and the main lake meet. For instance where Walden Road goes over the creek? I am trying to figure out where on stewart creek your fishing.
