    Default Displacement transducer works.....

    I can't tie jigs and I am:

Kinda caught up on house painting, so it is back to the servo. I got it working. Gotta get to the lake and mount it on my Jon Boat for further testing.

Made a short video clip using my Cannon 710 camera. First try. Worked pretty good. Easy to do.

Video shows how it works. Anybody ever want to build one of these rigs, I will provide the info. Free. Poor mans sidescan or is it the Pollock in me? haha

    My hobby.

I have thought about doing what you have done, just never got beyond the thought process. I would love to do this. If you have any info I would sure appreciate it.

Let me get it mounted on the Jon Boat and get the bugs worked out. I will post the info for all to share. I should work fine.

Ought to be interesting to see how well it works. Oughta be able to scout a lot of water without sidescan. I go places where I cant take a big boat.

    I am retired, but I ain't brain dead....yet...
Hope my brain don't slip and fall to my butt. My wife said my butt was dead. ha

i hope it works. my brother tried something similar with his trolling motor transducer. he bolted it pointed out wards. it didnt do very well. he never saw anything on it. it seemed like he got a lot of interference. maybe you can work it out. if so i would like the details so i can try it.

I probably have a slight advantage over your brother........
