    Question Yellow line


    Was thinking of switching to a yellow or gold line. any problems with the fish seeing it

    Have had no problems with fish seeing it but you will catch more fish cause you can see the soft hits better.

    I use it on all my reels, old eyes,against young fish, advantage I can see the yellow line better,and it doesent seem to bother the fish.

    I usually use cajun red, but I've been thinking about trying yellow. Maybe I'll give it a shot this year.

    I bought yellow recommended by DVD 101, that is all Ernest uses.

    Looking forward to giving it a try.

    I use the Mr. Crappie(high vis.) and like it alot. Works good for me and very reasonable

    Have no issues catching fish. Its good for the old guys that can't see to tie the knots. Like myself.

    I,ve used golden stren for ever [see it better]
    a lot of the so called top guides use some form of chartuse line--saying almost all crappie colors in jigs are in part chartuse
