Anyone have any tips on coloring minnows, without spending alot of money.
Tried food coloring didn't seem to work, but I may not have let them soak long enough. Thanks

Check aquarium supplies for non toxic dies.

Exotic fish are sometimes injected to get color effects. I read this somewhere.

they have markers and stuff for it in bps and cabelas to do it, but i found its totally senseess and a waste of money, if a fish isnt gonna eat a normal minnow that it sees everyday and knows it tastes yummy. its not gonna eat a blue minnow with a chrtruese head

I know Cabelas sells a product called the Spectra Minnow Color System. Never tried it but just might this year.
