    Never tried this color combo in a pony head jig, but I am going to. Do you guys think these should work as well if not better than a regular jig that is blue/white?

    Skip I've been useing horseheads with barb, spinners for several years and love them.Black head and red eyes is the best I've used,it will out fish the other colored heads in my opinon.

    Turtlebait I have the same thing happen, but find FL Red seems to pay off better for me. I am not sue it is the head alone though as I feel the body and tail are more important.

    I am looking at getting a few other colors right now, but have not decided yet which ones. Black is one of the colors I am thinking about. Of course I don't use the ones with barbs since mine are hand tied.
