chippewa flowage

Anyone know what works on the flowage for crappie. I will be fishing at the power dam near winter in mid-june. I don't have a boat but I fish on top of the dam down between the gates. Just to clarify, this is the dam that is bordered on one side by Indian land. I have never been real successful there and was wondering if anyone had any tips. I usually use minnows. Thanks.

We have been th the big chip three times and are going there again in a week to fish for a week.. Firat two times caught crappie in shallow water with slip bobbers and minnows last year was white and chartruse tube jigs floated over the top of weeds in about 12 feet of water. We have never been down by the dam.
