What do you use?

To get the paint from the eyes of the jig heads. I have bought a couple of the eye poppers from BPS but they do not hold up. Pocket knike, Ice pick

I use mostly unpainted heads anymore but a big plastic worm hook works pretty well.

I usually just use the hook from another jig. A safety pin also works well.

Not a real heavy jig fisherman, but I've got a eye-buster I ordered
from Cabela's several years ago that is holding up fine - it's the one they
advertise as being able to nip line too, but I don't use it for that.
Got a red handle on it, vinyl stuff like on a pair of plier handles.

I've got one of these too. Had it for a looooong time. Busted a bunch of paint out too. The trick is to start twisting as you start squeezing it shut. Has held up real good. Still got a good sharp point.
