Default To Swivel or not to......

swivel, that is the question. Do any of yall use swivels when fishing with minnows or do you just tie the hook to the line? How bout them hooks with leaders in a pack? Anybody use those standout hooks? How bout them fas-snaps? I'm both bored and inexperienced!

I use the fas-snaps on just about everything...no swivels on jigs.

appreciate yall giving me an education, I really do. I'm really looking forward to fishing this year. I've had some ailments that's gonna keep me from playing golf so I've bought me a boat and a place at the lake and can't wait. Thanks!

I tie a swivel onto braided line with my sinker, cork and bead above it, then use mono below the swivel with just my hook. If I get hung up, the mono will usually break before the braided and all I lose is the hook.

I do same as Muddywater, use a smaller test 4# on mono so if hook don't straighten out from snag just mono breaks, still have float & sinker-cause I am lazy & and don't like wasten time retieing
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....
