    Default Snagging?

Obviously not for crappie. So is anyone gonna get out for opening night next Fri? I'll be there with a few friends either at LOZ or Osage. Hopefully we'll limit out before we freeze but who knows. Might try to hit a few docks for some slabs during the day.

Yeah, I'll hit it for the first time in years but it will be daylight and warm when I do. Probably below Warsaw but I'd really like to try TRL in the upper James R. Not bad crappie fishing there either.

Been a rough winter for crappie numbers on the James.

I'll pray the snaggers don't move too many of my condos.

It is work, but man throw that meat on the grill with some wood chips smoke it for a little slap some BBQ sauce on it. Mighty good eating.:o
Also, a couple of years ago we snagged for a couple of hours got bored so we went to a spot I know on the river sat there and caught crappie one after another. we had about 4 boats sitting around use watching as soon as we left the race was on!!:D

G - Rough winter for catching them or just low numbers to be caught ??? I haven't fished down there since the early 90's.

After a bit of rearranging I have turned my rig into a snagging machine. Notice the headlights I have installed, they will come in handy when trailering at night and running the river.
