    Default Crappie Condo's

Is anyone finding fish on the condo's they have sunk?

Beagle have you graphed any on the ones you put out on Stockton?

I am thinking about building some more this week and sinking them on Sunday. So far I have caught some fish on the ones I placed but not any big numbers. I do feel like they are in good locations so hopefully they will produce.

How long have your beds been out? i usually give mine 6 months to a year before i start to fish em with any regularity, they'll hold a few fish before that but they get a whole bunch better with time.

i havent sunk any bamboo condo's yet but my pvc condo's barely produced un til they where about 1 1/2 years old. it took them that long to really slime up good. for about the first year they were still mostly white. but in the last couple of months they seem to have really come on. hopefully this will be a banner year for them. i saw on another post where sanding them before you drop them in would help them hold algae quicker. man i wish i had know that. ooh well may be on my next batch.

That info helps because none of them have been out a year yet and the one I like the most only about 6 months right now. I have all the material to build some more so I will get to it this weekend. Thanks

I am good on the building I have two 15 year old boys donating the labor so they can go fishing later. I may need help with the sinking. I'll let you know as soon as they are finished.

Can't catch them, so might as well add to their habitat. That's what we did today. Planted 2 new trees and transplanted 2 on LOZ.
