I do, but I don't use them for crappie often. My 1/4, 3/8th, and 5/8th oz. jigs are for saltwater mostly.
Any of you ever make big jigs? Just wondering. I never see any 1/4 oz or 3/8 oz size jigs displayed here.
Lots of us use big jigs here. Me, I use 1/4 - 3/8 darters with 2-3 in curly tails etc . with #2 hook.
Someone here said elephants eat peanuts. Well, Moby Dick don't. I wanna catcht Moby Dick, not Dumbo.

I make a lot if 1/4 and use them a good bit too. I have them with a #6, #4, #2 and #1 Hooks with the #1 being Sickle.
Oh and when I tie my personal jigs I tie 1/32, 1/16. 1/8 & 1/4 all the same colors so I can use them in any fishing I do depending on depth and wind.

Here are a few 1/4 oz.
This has a #1 Sickle hook too.
Not totally sure if this is 1/8 or 1/4...
Can make most any jig I make in 1/4 except for a few that use small body fly materials.
