    Default Rod Guides

I have a 20' telescopic fiberglass pole. i am wanting to shorten it to about 14' and was wondering if anyone knows where I gan get adjustable ( that fit around the pole) guides. the way it is now is the line runs through the inside of the pole and attaches to a small in-handle reel. I want to mount an ultra-lite reel to it also. Any help would be appreciated.

    Something like this?

I'd just use electrician's tape to mount the reel.

Call Grizzly Jig and ask for Wade. I know he cuts down long poles to push cranks, and I'm sure they have what you're looking for there. http://www.grizzlyjig.com/

I'd go with the BnM slip-ons pointed out by db4d... and http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/rod-building/ is a good place to get reel seats and handle kits.
