    Default Chartreuse Color Change ???

Well I posted/complained on the jig tying board the other day about my latest order for materials that came in the FL Chartreuse I got this time was not like it had been. So I called my supplier and they are a pretty big wholesaler of flytying materials and ask about this new color tint for FL. Chartreuse to see if I liked it should I get more now or is this a longer term thing.

Well they told me the last time their dye came in it had changed and this will be the Chartreuse for the foreseeable future or at least that is what they think.

Anyway I am just telling you guys and gals about this so you can expect to see this change coming. I like it, but not sure everyone will. I took the picture below, well actually I took several trying to show the difference and this is as close as I got.

Notice how much closer the new chartreuse is to FL Yellow (the yellow Chartreuse) than it is to FL Chartreuse (the green one). It still has a green tint, but not near as much as it was before. I have no idea if this will affect all suppliers or just this one.

The very top is FL Yellow and the bottom jig is FL Chartreuse (the old one) and the middle jig and feather is the new FL Chartreuse.

It Seems Like I Get A Lot More Bites On The Yellower Color. But Maybe Its Just Me.

I like it and hope it stays just like this and as a matter of fact I hope the hackle ends up being this color too. I like the FL Yellow better than the Green FL Chart, but this new tint many move me over to the FL Chart now.

I think the fish will absolutely love it!

I don't think the Crappie will notice the color variation as much as the fisherman do .

Florescent chartreuse is the way to go. I'm fishing and jig that has chartreuse in it.

    Chartruese and aqua
    chartreuse and pink
    chartreuse and black
    chartreuse and white
    chartreuse and chartreuse

Those are my favorites. If it doesn't have chartreuse....it just ain't no use.
