    Default cleaning minnow bucket


    what should i use to clean out my minniw bucket soap and water?

    i went out last week on all my minnow seem to die quickly or started floating on their side.

    I always use ice and alittle salt and just alittle water. then just shake in a circular motion

    might have a fungus in it killing minnows use a little bleach and scrubb it out good and then rinse it several times this is what I do to my livewells

    I don't know that you can use bleach on styrofoam, but I always used soap and hot water and then rinsed it out several times.

    I use Bleach & water-Swirl it around some,let it set and rinse: Good as new!!

    try baking soda it will clean but shouldnt hurt the minnows afterward. its what i use in my livewells to keep them fungus free.

    Simple Green....then you may want to invest in some bait saver to add to your water when you buy your minnows.

    Use bleach and then leave out in the sunlight for a couple days to kill any remaining chlorine.
