    Default Newbie from west KY

I've lurked around here a couple of times and finally decided to jump into the fray. I've crappie and bream fished for most of my 51 years. I tournament bass fished for several years but would rather run with the "perch jerkers" (that's what my bass friends called anybody who wasn't bass fishing) now. I worked in the chemical industry for 27 years until I got hurt in an on-the-job accident in 2001. Three fused cervical vertebrae and 4 rotator cuff surgeries later, I'm now a full time taxidermist and waterfowl guide. I just finished my SE MO snow goose hunts and am ready to get on KY and Barkley Lakes for some slabs and bluegill/redears. We started catching quality redears around here about 10-12 years ago and were able to keep it quiet for most of that time. We made a promise to release any female redears that we could ID and still do. My largest catches are a 2.2 pound redear, 3 pound white crappie and 9 pound 4 oz LM bass. I have mounted crappie up to 4 pounds that were caught locally. I plan on checking around here often and would welcome PMs or other questions if I can be of assistance. I'll also be asking plenty of questions of my own. Looks like a good group of folks here.

BTW, I'd never be so arrogant to go by Mr.Dux. The alias is actually m-r-dux like the old saying goes. It's also my Ky license plate. Lots of folks take it the wrong way. Thanks.
