    Default Patoka Fishing?

I was curious to know if anyone can tell me about the level of Patoka. Can you launch a boat? Has anyone launched their boats yet? Have you caught any fish? I am itching to get the boat out and give it a try. I am trying to plan an overnighter down there with my father but don't want to waste a trip. If not Patoka, maybe you have a lake close to your home that has open water and good fishing. I have on many occasions in early march to dump the crappie and fish for walleye as well. I live in Pendleton and most of our lakes are iced over or still at winter pool. Patoka is almost 3 hours drive and I don't want to waste a trip.

Sounds like some fun anyways. Thanks for the info on the ramps. I got the boat out and serviced it today. I am hoping on hitting patoka about the middle of the month. Are there other boats out yet? Or will I be the only idiot out. Been there before, just not a unfamiliar lake. Thanks for the info.
