A truck driver I used to unload swore up and down there was only one way to cook fish-in hog lard. I don't know if I'll be that hungry or not.
How overweight was the guy telling you? The guy that told me was about 5'3 and maybe weighed 100 pounds. I'm still shocked.
That's all my grandmother would fry chicken and fish in. It really keep everything moving...if you know what I mean!
The only way to have a good fishing spot is to make it yourself!
I was raised on lard. Maybe because thats all you could get or make. Maybe thats why I'm on hearts meds too.

I am going to have to buy a new one. the one I got is filling up fast thanks to all the info I keep copy down on size and color and material, time of day or night, condos material, how to and so on. The temp. is 43* and going up every day, the Wallaya are schooling at the mouth of the river, Crappie are right behind them, the lake is still covered with ice but to thin to walk on. I have wiped down the reals and rods, reorganized the tackel box, had the new locater installed and motor serviced. I CANT STAND IT!!!!
Thanks to all of you. I have been fishing for over 65 years and still learning.
