    Just Wondering If Anyone Has Checked Any Water Temps Of Any Arkansas Crappie Lakes Lately?

    Sugarloaf Lake, just South of Fort Smith, started the day at 52 and ended at 54 degrees.

    Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas was up to 53 degrees this morning. Fish are biting well in shallow water also!

    J.T. i've also been in the 53 to 55 degree water south of the bridge been having better luck tight lining at about 15'. Seems to be effective for pulling out the larger males, 15+"'s. Using little tough guys, cutting off head of chartruese tube body. They hit like 3 lb. bass.
