[Big Crappie 2]

IN THE EARLY 80s, I REMEMBER SEEING SOMEWHERE THAT SOMEONE CAUGHT A 4+LB CRAPPIE NEAR BELLS CHURCH BRIDGE. DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO ON THIS OR KNOW WHAT JORDAN LAKES LARGEST FISHES ARE? JUST CURIOUS TO SEE THE LIST OF BIG FISH THAT HAS COME FROM THIS LAKE.

I don't know about jordan, but here are the NC records:

black crappie -4 lbs 15 oz- Asheboro City Lake #4- 4/27/80- Dean Dixon Minnow

white crappie -1 lb 13 oz- Lake Norman- 12/9/07- Buck Stikeleather Bass Assassin lure

Sounds like the black is around the time you are talking about.

I Remember Seeing A Picture Of A Man Holding The Crappie And Also Remember It Was From Bells Church Bridge Because 2 Times A Year Bells Church Has A Bbque Dinner And That Is How I Knew Where The Bridge Was.not Really Sure How Long Ago I Saw It Though!!!thanks, Just Curious To Know What Jordans Records Were.
