One that I have had my hands on? I have caught up to about a 5-6 lbs largemouth. Biggest smallie that I have touched is about 3 1/2 lbs but had one that I got to the bank that would have gone over 5 easy; I just got to see it as it flipped off on the bank and back in to the water. Have hooked bass bigger but never got them to boat usaully throw the hook.
If in doubt, cross their eyes!!

Biggest Largemouth - 7lbs (hanging on wall) I don't have any "on the lake" pics of it. But, here's an "old" picture of 5lb & 6lb Largemouths I caught -

The Smallmouth came from Watts Bar Lake in East Tenn. All of the Largemouths came from Herrington Lake in central Kentucky ....cp

Thumbs up Dead on the money ... Fishin3

That is actually on the main lake bank, just to the right of the cut thru to Bayside :D
That particular fish was one of several that my buddy & I caught along that bank. We were using live Shad under a float, couple of feet deep and right against the cliff. As you can see, in the picture, the sun is just about to go down behind the hills. We had fished all day and were heading in to Bayside, when I decided to use up the last few live Shad we had. If I'm not mistaken, that would have been in early May (but the year escapes me  ).

Any chance of seeing you at the Spring Fling Crappie Tournament ?

Take care and keep in touch ................. luck2ya ........cp

    Exclamation Great, fishin3 ...

    I'll see ya there !

Have you had a chance to get out and scout around ? Did you ever get privy to any of Killer's "death star" locations ?...LOL!!
If the weather holds up, and the water levels don't yo-yo too bad .... looks like we may hit right between the spawning of the Black Crappie, and the pre-spawn movement of the White Crappie. I hope so - that will give the minnow users almost an equal chance against the jig users. I'd really like to see ALL the teams come to the weigh-in with a bag full :D ....luck2ya ...cp
