    Angry Merc 4 stroke

Are any of you fishermen/boaters out there having problems with the Merc 4 stroke engines besides me? My problems are in the fuel system!

What kind of symptoms were you haveing with the fuel system problem? I just took mine in for service after 15 months because it didn't seem to want to set back a purr while running wide open. It wasn't halting but still was not running the way I thought it had in the past.

    Default 4 stroke

Next time, take a look at the Yamaha 4 stroke. Let me know when you hear from someone who has had problem's with Yamaha 4 strokes.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

Had to have the carb cleaned on my 2+ year old Yamaha 25 HP 4-Stroke last spring. The motor had not been run in about 4 months. And the idle jet stopped up.
But about all the carb model 4-strokes will do that. As the jet are so small.
Sure glad the Suzuki 140 4-stroke is fuel injected.. :p
