Hey everyone we may finally have a day to get on the lake Saturday. Anyone going out? I was thinking about Clinton or Perry. Any reports? I assume the ice will all be gone by then...atleast I hope with the few warm days coming up!

I just got off the phone with the COE at Perry, and all boat ramps are still iced in. When will this horror come to a end. :-(

i plan on driving by tonight to check it out.....bad thing is that is looks like the wind will blow 20mph both sat and sun so i guess i will hafta wait till another day

Something should be biting somewhere, and I plan to go looking for 'em. I think willow lake at Tuttle just got stocked with trout yesterday. I realize it is a hollow victory catching put-and-take trout, but you can still get your fishing fix.
If anybody has any insight on Council Grove Res, I would be all ears.

P.S. This is my first post although I have browsed this site plenty. You all seem pretty nice.

I just talked to a budy of mine that just left Hillsdale. He did not even put his boat in the water. They have dropped the lake at least 3' in the last week, and it's reallll muddy.

I think I will save some gas and go burn some powder at the Bullet Hole this weekend. I don't want to fight that wind. The heat will be here before we know it and you will find me dipping trees with my 10ft Huckabee rod and a Beavertail on the end of my line, Yankin' slabs in the boat, I CAN"T WAIT!!! :D

I'm not even gonna go fishing this weekend. I'm fishing Eufaula on March 15 and 16. I'm gonna save my wrist for those big Eufalua SLABBIES. I hear that I-40 rip rap is really starting to heat up.
