Welcome aboard. We're glad you found us. Make sure you keep all that white stuff up your way. We don't need any down here in MS.
Have not been fishing for 28 years. Raising 5 children 17 grandchildren etc.
Found this site via a Crappie Mag. and search engine.
Believe it or not only caught 1 crappie when I was about 17.
Been reading, books, forums, goggles searches. Got to gear up from scratch. Right now found a nice lake Beebe Lake in Auburn In.
It has a real nice dock, talked to a couple fishermen last fall and they claim the crappie are in abundance.
Looking forwarded to this spring then this had to happen

Bob, I'm a late bloomer to crappie fishing too. Next to duck hunting, crappie fishing is high on my list of have-to's. Good fishing to you.
Welcome back to fishing and welcome aboard crappie.com. I'm in Upstate NY, and I feel your pain about the weather. It started snowing this morning and is supposed to go through tomorrow afternoon, then Lake Ontario will fire up here snow maker and dump a little more on us.
Welcome from NC and please keep the snow up your way. Us crappie fisherman here in NC want the spring to start already so please, NO MORE COLD FRONTS.

Welcome aboard from High Rock Lake, USA.
Welcome from Pa,we still have snow too.
Welcome to the site Bob. You have found the right place to get ready to get em. Have fun and ask lots of questions. Learn to use the search option when you are curious about a topic. There are very few issues we haven't covered to the Nth degree. This site should be subtitled Crappie University.
Good things come to those who bait.
Welcome from Southeast Georgia.
Birddog,
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
