    Default Rootbeer sparkle powder paint

    Fellow Jig Tiers,
Wife went out of town, stopped at Bass Pro Shop (must have been guilty for going clothes shopping) surprized me and bought several jars of powder paint for my jig tying. What fun and neat professionally looking jigs, before powder paint I was using Sally Hansen Fingernail polish Hard As Nail with great reuslts. Question is, one of the bottles she bought was "Root Beer Sparkle", never had much luck on brown jigs:rolleyes:. Do some of you veterans have a brown color combination suggestions (chenille, hair) that work with brown jighead in your neck of the woods for crappie? Here In Massachusetts, Black, Chartruese, White, Pearl and Gold are dynamite colors on all the panfish species.
Great website, thanks for replies in advance

If you have crawdads where you fish, try to mimic them. Otherwise, some bream have a lot of brown in them.
I have luck on brown with orange, yellow chartreuse, and green chartreuse tails, with the body colors sticking to natural grays, browns, whites, ect.

I use a root beer sparkle grub when the water is murky.
