Should be back up tomorrow some time - this is a big move, to a brand new server, I can't really test, I have to move the DB and install all sorts of software, including Joomla and the Vbulletin message board. And the big message board DB we now have. That's actually likely the longest part. ttyl

I have a fast computer and a fast internet connection and I'm not really seeing a speed change so far. Everything seems fine though. It will be interesting to see if this fixes the edit post problem where it makes you relog all the time when you make a long edit and you lose posts if you don't copy them.

A question I asked in your previous thread that you didn't answer that I'm very interested in. Will having the site hosted make running the site easier and less expensive than before?

It may not really be faster, but it should at least always be available. Thats why I moved it, too many outages with the previous connection.

I missed you all too. I always get real nervous when the site is down. It's a production computer thing I developed during outages at Grainger (where I worked) where every hour we were down cost us around $60k!
