Setting beds catching fish
A friend of mine and myself had a chance to go to the LOZ this weekend and set 20 Porcupine Fish Attractors and catch a limit of fish. We didn't catch any thumpers though. It seemed the best technique for us was dead sticking (Holding the bait completly still) in about 18' of water. We used 10' B-n-M Float in Fly rods, 1/32 oz jigs with 1 1/2" Southern Pro tubes tipped with Berkley Crappie Nibbles. The color of the skirt didn't seem to matter.
