Ditto on the super glue. Will save a lot of time on the water as well as baits.

I used to use Superglue on my tubes, to hold them on my jigheads. But, that was when I mainly used hollow body tubes. I've started using solid body tubes, and so far haven't needed to use the glue to hold them on.Originally Posted by Garyoutlaw
Used to have a lot of problems with Bluegills yanking the tube down onto the hook shaft. Superglue solved that problem, but didn't stop the gills from nipping off the tails :p (eventually to the point where I'd have only the main body left on the jighead ). Switched to solid body tubes ... same number of Bluegill hits, but they don't (or can't) pull the solid body tube down on the jighead.

I super glue solid body baits and tube baits. I bite off just the rounded tip of the tube which gives a clean hole to insert the jig head without pushing the super glue out of the way as bad.
