    Default Boat Trailer Tires

I'm having a time finding a cheap pair of 5.70-8 boat trailer tires here in the Metro St. Louis area. The main problem is that I don't want to buy a new rim along with the tires. That's pointless.

    Anyone have any tips?

I feel your pain. I went thru it last year. You can get tires at the trailer super store. But by the time you have them shipped and mounted, it cost more than a set at Rural King. I just got the whole deal at Rural King.

    Good luck

    Call them.

I bought two 5.70x8 tires a couple years ago. They had them in stock at my local store.

Around here, you can get a tire already mounted on a rim than you can buy just the tire.. Go figure.

Yes here also academy sells the 8 inch tire mounted on a rim cheaper than you can buy just the trailer tire casing alone. At a tire dealer
