Check all your electrical connections from the battery(s) up. All should be shiney clean and tight. Pull you prop and check for line wrapped around the shaft. You might also try searching this forum: http://www.crappie.com/gr8vb3/forumdisplay.php?f=71

What size cicuit breaker are yall using on the Auto-Pilots. Mine has a 30 and I was told I need a 50. This 30 has worked fine for years.

It depends on the size of the motor. You must have a small motor for a 30 amp breaker. For example a 55 lb thrust Minnkota draws 42 amps when it is running wide open.

My auto pilot will be working fine, then all of a sudden start turning a 360 on it's own. Anyone ever have this happen?

    Question Auto Pilot

I recently purchase a 55# thrust Minn Kota Auto Pilot. I hadn't put a circuit breaker or fuse in. How important is this technique?

reelcrappie's terrova ap quit on us a few months back. then when he got home it worked fine. Last month in the crappiemasters tourney on talquin it quit again with 4 hours left to fish.. When he got home it worked fine and has since then when he went to west point

Minn Kota Terrova or V2 Powerdrives in 12volt 55 lb thrust takes a 60 amp breaker. This is from Minn Kota. Minn Kota makes one. Put this in when someone runs a search later on. Also when wiring the boat they said to use 6 guage wire. Cabela's carries 6 guage wire.
