    Default messin "round"

Went to Russell Dam to check on catchin some bait last Sunday and took 1 rod n reel with me.My little fishin buddy from N.C.was here and he and my oldest boy had worked all day cleaning the boat so when Ryan left to go back home Me an Clay rode to Elbert county.Couldnt get within a half mile of the fishin and this ole fat man wasn't about to hike it so we watched the gulls about 2 minutes and turned around ,went to the first ramp goin back and talked to some striper fisherman, they had one bite since 9 that morning ,Parked the truck and grabbed my spinner with the blue fox on it and cast one time down the side of the courtesy dock, got the fox almost back to me and a huge largemuth inhaled it,1st cast ,man what a hog,,Clay says she was over 9 lbs. ,I thought at least 8..but she was 26 inches and fat and healthy, released her back to the shadows of the dock after a few glamour shots,,lol,,,
