Fishing trip turns tragic
Rescue crews found body of missing body
Madison County search and rescue teams found the body of a missing boater overnight.
The body of 46-year-old Gregory McKinley was found in the water not far from where they located his truck and boat late last night off of Record Road in Triana.
The truck was actually still running when crews found it.
McKinley fell into the water while trying to tie his boat to the docks. Steve Makousky from Marine Police said, "he tied his boat up at the dock over there, but it got away from him and somewhere in that time frame, he drowned."
McKinley was a retired Huntsville city employee and an avid fisherman.
My prayers are with the McKinley family.
