    Default Help with 90 Mariner

I have a 1988 90 hp Mariner. The throttle control on the shifter has a square button you push to release the arm so that you can keep the motor in neutral and rev up the rpm,s for starting the motor when its cold. I cant get mine to release, so I am not able to adjust the rpm,s. Has any one else ever experienced this. I cant figure out how to fix this part of the control. HELP!!!

    Default Be Careful!!!

Don't try to pull it out towards you, cause I tried that and mine broke. Not too funny when you are already frustrated. I'd talk to a Mechanic. Good luck.
