    Default Fishing line?

Is anyone using either P-Line (Halo), or Sufix fishing line, and if you are, how do you like it? Thanks in advance!:D

I dont know about the halo, but I used to use P-Line for bass fishing. It is about like using baleing wire. That line has got the worst memory of any line I have ever used. It was nearly immpossible to use lightweight lures due to the memory not allowing you to cast very far. I am currently using Silver Thread ?-40. I cant remember the exact variety, but it is a great line in my opinion.

Yeah, I didn't have the best experience with P-Line, either.

I use Sufix Siege for everything from 4 and 6 pound crappie rods to 20 pound saltwater rods and love it. Great line.

I use Sufix and love it. Check out their hi vis Neon Tangerine and their hi vis yellow, which is more of a flores. lime.

I started with copolymers with Pline and loved it till I discovered Sufix Promix. Its thinner and more limp than the regular copoly Pline, though I have never used halo. I love promix and as far as I am concerned dollar for dollar its the best line on the market. Thin, limp, amazingly strong, abrasion resistant and cheap. If cost isn't a big factor, Gamma is just as good and is even more limp than promix. Regardless of cost its the best line I have ever used. There may be other copolys out there I haven't used like McCoy that may be just as good, but it would be tough to beat these 2 lines.

I see there are those out there that like Sufix's siege and elite, but in comparison I found them to be thicker, less limp and weaker than promix and Gamma. I hated them, and have tried to steer people away from those lines. They are not copolys and to me felt about the same as berkley xl, which I used for years but would never use with such superior lines now available.

Sufix has other copolys that I understand are just as good as Promix as Russ recommends above. Go check out the variety of lines at www.bubbajackstackle.com.

Grizz, Have you ever used any of the Silver Thread line? If so, how does it compare to Sufix Promix? I'm using Silver Thread AN40 in 4# and 6# and I really like it.
