    Default Waggler Floats

I like to use a float that I can take off easily when fishing visible cover. That way I can fish cover that I can wade or float to with a tight line or use a float when I need to.
Can the Waggler be installed and removed without taking a jig off?
If it isn't meant to be fished that way could it be modified?

Yes, that's one of the beauties of the waggler. There are two ways to do this. First of all, you can just use a snap swivel. Run the line through the swivel and attach the float with the snap.

However, I prefer to use swivel adaptors like this:

They are also available from Lindy:

If you don't want to buy them, they're easy to make. All you need is a silicone tube (available from Lindy or Bass Pro) and a small swivel. Just super glue the swivel into the silicone.
